Project Scope
A brand new identity and collateral for a brand new company.
Context
SMRT Solutions was in need of a sister company to handle the influx of creative marketing agency related projects so they could focus on their core offering of corporate IT services. Thus, smrt studio was born along with all the intrinsic DNA of a new company such as a logo, tone of voice, look/feel, colours, website, and much more.

Design process
A creative agency identity should almost stamp-like in it’s design qualities. As though it can be stickered to the client work it develops and supports, thus taking the design equivalent of a backseat to the client work. As smrt studio is set in the beautiful landscape of Powassan, Ontario it felt “natural” to bring the surroundings into the company identity, since both the land and the people had given so much this company’s history as SMRT Solutions.
Results
The decision on the final logo design was unanimous. Once the logo was finalized, the project moved to website design and print collateral to bolster the upcoming launch of this company.
